It's a double-whammy of Teen Wolf this week as we recap the past two episodes. And it's unfortunate to note that, while the performances remain strong, the show has really dropped the ball in terms of story, with seemingly important plot threads forgotten for episodes at a time. Is there time to fix things before the fast approaching finale? Only three weeks left to find out.

Only three weeks left to find out. by Hayley Charlesworth Given the sterling work on last week’s episode, Riddled, it would have been difficult for Teen Wolf to follow up with something even better. Unfortunately, it doesn’t. Although Letharia Vulpina is still an enjoyable episode with lots of great elements, it suffers in comparison to the previous three efforts, at least until the final few minutes. By Hayley Charlesworth Although there was supernatural business going on, Riddled didn't feel like a Teen Wolf episode, but a dark and excellent extended metaphor for mental illness. Anchored by show-best performances by Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Posey and Holland Roden, Riddled is Teen Wolf's finest hour to date, and one can't help but wonder how they can possibly top it. By Graham Osborne Valentines Day is supposed to be one of those times of year where you’re guaranteed some sort of intimate bedroom dance ritual with your significant other/one night stand/random hobo in the alley behind the bar you were trying to find initial said one night stand. But that’s enough about my last Valentines Day. There are more pressing problems at hand. If YOU, dear reader, are having troubles making your geeky partner moan in ecstasy, if your sabre just won’t light, or you’re experiencing a spell that’s drier than Tatooine’s drought season. Then step right this way, and we will show you some of the best sex positions for Geeks! For the sake of some people's delicate disposition, and to protect the innocent, we have chosen to censor all images. The original images were very raunchy though. Oh yes... By Hayley Charlesworth Building on last week's excellent episode, Silverfinger is perhaps Teen Wolf's finest offering to date. Between moody, atmospheric direction, interweaving plot threads and a delightfully shocking reveal, everyone gets plenty to sink their teeth into. Except for Lydia, who bizarrely doesn't show up. By Hayley Charlesworth In Illuminated, Teen Wolf has given us an episode that is difficult to criticize. Intricately weaving the various plot threads together, to the backdrop of a stunningly staged and filmed episode, with even more stunning music choices, this episode was Teen Wolf in its finest form. By Hayley Charlesworth Thanks to a deliciously creepy turn from the legendary Doug Jones, and a perfect balance of comedy and horror, Galvanize sees Teen Wolf continue to gain momentum in season 3B. The only problem being, none of these plot developments have anything to do with the previous two episodes. By Hayley Charlesworth While weaker overall than last week's season return, More Bad Than Good continues to play to the show's strengths, with the mystery of the week involving something rarely seen in Teen Wolf of late, teamwork. By Hayley Charlesworth Teen Wolf returns this January, and if the recent ‘Lose Your Mind’ promos are any indication, it has ditched the campy werewolf fun in favour of being utterly horrifying. But before we delve into Season 3B, a recap on the story so far, for newcomers. (Spoilers may follow. - Ed) |
